Healthy Bluffdale is excited to partner with Salt Lake County Youth Services to bring a couple of workshops to our community. All workshops will be free to attend, are evidence based, range from 4-10 weeks (1 hour sessions/week), and provide significant positive results.

Me Time for teens 13-17
This class discusses the triangle of thoughts feelings and actions, and addresses thinking more positively, challenging negative thoughts, and becoming more active.
Stress Busters for ages 10-12
This class is designed to reduce depressive symptoms and anxiety as well as improve current and future coping skills.
The Body Project for Teen Girls
This class focuses on challenging societal appearance ideals. It focuses on verbal, written, and behavioral exercises in which participants voluntarily critique the thin beauty ideal promoted for females.
Staying Connected with Your Teen for Caregivers of Youth 12-17
This class focuses on teen development, risk and protective factors, communication, parenting responses, family conflict management, decision making and solving problems.
Guiding Good Choices for Caregivers of Youth ages 9-14
This class focuses on prevent drug use, setting family expectations for behavior, family conflict management, and strengthening family bonds.
