Emergency Alert Systems

There are many options for emergency alerts. Realize that you should not wait for or rely exclusively on a notification system for directives or safety instructions.

1. Sign up for emergency alerts through the Bluffdale City Website.

2. Register your cell phone with the Salt Lake Valley Emergency Communications Center (VECC). They have instituted a regional Emergency Notification System (ENS). 

4. Download relevant hazard alerts and warnings apps onto your phone (earthquake, weather, American Red Cross, FEMA)

5. Understand the Neighborhood Emergency Plan. Know who is your Section Leader and Group Leader and how they communicate with the group.
